Cerda Fabrics were founded in 1951, from its outset until 1995 the main business focus was in the manufacturing of footwear fabrics. In 1995, and with investment into new machinery and technology, they entered the market of outdoor and indoor technical and decorative fabrics. In the following 25 years the business has grown year on year and their products are now exported to over 60 countries.
There is a large roll stock offer of outdoor fabrics, featuring solution dyed acrylics, giving a high UV resistance, and treated with all the necessary finishes for outdoor use and performance, such as stain proofing and anti mildew. This offer has been enhanced recently with the acquisition of a digital printer, adding much more colour and design to the vast range of plains and stripes
There is also a large indoor upholstery selection, consisting of 70 collections, offering many specialist finishes including the Hydroclean finish, which enables the fabric to be wipe cleaned by water.
The mill are happy and keen to undertake customer own development and designs, which are coordinated by the in house design team.
