We at DTI are always conscious of the negative impact of our industry on the environment, so are in continual contact with our mills as to what processes they have and will put in place to help reduce their impact.

GM's story so far

Waste Water Recycling
GM have their own waste water treatment plant which currently recycles 65% of their waste water.
The balance of their waste water is moved into an Industrial effluent treatment plant, from where it is further treated and discharged into the sea.

Recycling Plastic
All of the plastic packaging that GM use is recyclable.
GM's Plans for the Future
GM are currently expanding their water treatment plant, which should be complete by late summer 2023
